Ten Buck Pop Up Portraits | 433 Granby

There’s the guy named Drew. He started a creative agency/ad agency/interactive agency and has found much success. He loves his hometown of Norfolk Virginia and wants to make it better.  Want is fine…but he is actually doing something.  He bought a few of the empty buildings on Granby Street that are next to his agency…oh, if you don’t know, It’s Grow Interactive. Now, he could have sold those empty places to, say…Papa John’s Pizza or some other boring chain thing, but he didn’t. One space became Field Guide and what’s not to love about that?

Oh, man I’m running long here!

So 433 Granby is going to be a part of the Vibrant Spaces thing but would be empty until they remodel it. So, why not have people with an idea or something do Pop Ups?

Pop Up coffee….Pop Up Yoga…Pop Up Bakery…..

It really gives everyone a chance to see what a Vibrant Space would be like. Bring more life to the area.

Well, I love to take pictures of people. I could always do more to help out my favorite local charity, World Pediatric Project.

My wife, and fine tuner of ideas, and I set up our Pop Up shop. The idea was: $10 for a quick, ring lit, portrait on a backdrop. All the money goes to WPP.

Thanks for everyone who came out!

We had a blast! We want to do it again.

So, next time we do it…please come on down!
