- There are no words to properly articulate how much I love this photograph.
gulls
i know this subject is kind of “low hanging fruit” in my bag of tricks, to go shoot gulls down the street at the beach but, i really do think they are the most amazing creatures. and, i think they appreciate the attention….and stale pretzels.

- I never get tired of looking at them. That second one is incredible. I love how he/she is looking right at you with kind of a "wuz up" expression. Sam
suzanne’s attic find
i’m a huge fan of “vernacular(i love that word) found” photos. i’ve been working on my very own collection for years. turns out i’m not the only one doing this. which makes good finds all the more special. this one was sent by a bride of mine’s sister. it has to be one of the best images i’ve seen. thanks suzanne.

- I'm glad you guys all made it off the mountain in good health! As for me, ha! It's hard to shoot weddings in a full body cast........ My skiing days are a thing of the past.
- yeah, we done good. though, i think dave was a bit upset that he missed american idol. echard
- Man...I really need a haircut!! Had a great time. Terri's jealous and really wants to go. Let me know if you're up for another trip. I'm snowboarding next time!
- yeah, hippie, you need a shearing! we'll all go next time.
dreaming in ground glass….
what a pretensious title! ooooohhhhh…..i’m so artisitic. gimme a break. i ran across this “flickr” group dedicated to shooting through old cameras. they actually, construct these contraptions to connect their modern slrs to the old camera. you just can’t make a filter with this look. not that anyone may actually want this look. but, i’m a fan. the ricoh below was my grandfather’s, big eck. the skull has no hidden meaning. i needed something to see how light fell on a subject with a lighting set up. it really is a cool skull, though. i just don’t want anyone to get the idea that i’m some devil worshipper.
