Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. This being a bio, I guess I should tell you something about myself. Well, at least what's relevant to photography. Hmm, so no talking about...my sweet family...why I still like old r.e.m....oh, and trail running, hiking, camping, daydreaming and scheming in general?
Photography- I've been told that I'm doing what I was meant to be doing(thanks dad). In the past, I've said "I love what I do"...well duh, it's a fun job documenting ONE of the best days of someone's life! That should be a given. What I'm truly passionate about is those random moments. It could be the look from a father to his daughter, a grandmother's laugh, a child doing just about anything, or a groom seeing his bride for the first time.
I have a beautiful wife and daughter. I know how it feels to love so much it makes your heart want to explode. It is truly one of life's gifts. I wish everyone could feel this way. My goal is to record those moments so that many years from now a couple's grandkids can see what their old grandpaw and grandmaw "really" looked like on one of the happiest days of their lives. I want them to "see" them as they were, not "see" some dated photoshop techniques or a heavily retouched, posed image.
I've been doing this since 1997 and I really couldn't imagine doing anything else. I hope to hear from you soon.
