- I love the look of this wedding - so rustic and yet elegant. Your images are always beautiful.
- Wow! Inspiring! You really caught the rustic feel!
- Really beautiful coverage here E. The detail work is top notch, and your fine art shots of the leaves and trees is really beautiful. I will always maintain that you will have a fantastic career with fine art photography once we are too old to get on the ground and stand and in windows. Keep up the great work buddy.
- Hey Isha and Candace, thanks so much. Yes, WB winery is oozing with rustic charm. Yo Dave! I really appreciate it. I'm loving your new site, by the way. I think an "honorable mention" should go to my 50L and 24L. You can just about make a mud puddle look cool when you shoot it, wide open, with one of those lens'.

the obama hangover
- THIS IS GREAT! I feel those supporters pain!;) Sam
- yeah, i guess it's time to peel the 5 stickers off of my element. my irish blood is telling me it's all downhill from here:)
yes we did!!!
i can’t resist expressing our excitement that barack obama has won the election. it’s put many of our family and friend relationships to the test. and now, i hope we can move on and get back to our other petty differences:) our little obama fan drew this in her journal the other day.

to quote e.j. dionne
“Above all, it is time to celebrate the country’s wholehearted embrace of democracy, reflected in the intense engagement of Americans in this campaign and the outpouring to the polls all over the nation. For years, we have spoken of bringing free elections to the rest of the world even as we cynically mocked our own ways of conducting politics. Yesterday, we chose to practice what we have been preaching. “
happy ONE year anniversary kelly and pat!
to one of my favorite couples of 2007!

- You are so nice to do that!!! Thank you so much, you made our day! That is one of my FAVORITE pictures. It was so nice to see you Saturday!
- so cute!
- Happy Anniversary, Kelly and Pat! I'm so happy to have been a part of your special day - and congrats to 1 year!
- kelly, hope you two had a fun day (standing in the voting line!). it was great seeing you two at christin's wedding. say hi to tucker for me.
i really love what i do because…
there is nothing more beautiful than seeing the pure unadulterated joy on a couples wedding day. i am going through my wedding from last saturday and got to a sequence of images right after the ceremony where christiaan and his father are shaking hands. christen’s sister is poking her head out of the church door with a big grin on her face. victoria williams wrote the most perfect song called “this moment” and it comes to mind when i’m a witness to scenes like this one. i’d embed the song if i could figure out how! if your really listen to the words you never forget them. sheesh, i’m a sap!

This moment will never come again
I know it because it has never been before
I listen to the rain outside the door
A thousand voices singing songs that ain`t been sung before
Some days while lost in reverie
I find the very hours have slipped away from me
Well as the sunlight dances through the leaves
The patterns they awaken me
And I say hey ho
This moment will never come again
I know it because it has never been before
Here we are now
Soon it will be then
Here we are now
Soon it will be then
Here we are now
Soon it will be then
It`s nothing more, nothing less
Than the place that we are in
This moment will never come again
I know it because it has never been before
And I listen to the wind
And I see the trees are shaking…

- Echard, Ryan and I wanted to thank you for capturing such wonderful moments at our wedding. The pictures are absolutely beautiful. Your talent has given us the opportunity to relive our special day every time we look at our pictures. Your ability to capture so many different feelings and emotions are quite evident. The creativity and attention to detail that your photographs exude is by far the best I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing your special gift with us on our special day. Gratefully yours, Margot & Ryan
- wow! margot and ryan, you have quite the following! thanks to all for stopping by. and, to ryan and margot, thanks so so much for letting document your day. though we were dogged by the rain we did manage to stitch together something out of it. and, a special shout out to margot for handling getting mud on her gown in order to get a few photos outside.
- Echard, The pictures are AMAZING!! You were able to capture such emotion in so many of the shots. The look on Ryan's face as he is looking up at the sky!!! No words needed. Thanks so much for making their day so special.
- Thanks Brenda, I really loved working with Ryan and Margot. What a day that was! The photos don't really do justice to how much it rained that day. I'm so so glad we go to outside for a little while.
