Did you notice the PERFECT icicles hanging from Popeye’s tree?
He would save them from year to year and hang each one individually!
Amazing! The patience that man had!
And they don’t even make that type of icicle anymore……what a shame!

just a few from my dilapidated backyard. blame it on being from the south, and a rather dull part of the south (north louisiana), but, i’ve always had a hankering for persons, places and things in various states of ruin. i think sally mann said that nothing is truly beautiful until it begins to decay….

there is nothing more beautiful than seeing the pure unadulterated joy on a couples wedding day. i am going through my wedding from last saturday and got to a sequence of images right after the ceremony where christiaan and his father are shaking hands. christen’s sister is poking her head out of the church door…

Thanks Brenda, I really loved working with Ryan and Margot. What a day that was! The photos don’t really do justice to how much it rained that day. I’m so so glad we go to outside for a little while.
